12-Ton Test Dies

All compression tool systems should be tested periodically.

The REL-CG-12TN load cell should be used in combination with the R12-TD test die to test and calibrate your system ensuring that the 12 ton crimping tool will achieve the required compression for your application.

ADAPTERS ARE AVAILABLE FOR USE WITH KEARNEY STYLE COMPRESSIONTOOLS

HOW TO TEST YOUR COMPRESSION: 

Insert R12-TD or appropriate test die set. Place REL-CG-12TN between test dies. Activate tool to compress the load cell. If pressure relief occurs outside of the required range, ensure hydraulic system will provide the required 10,000 psi. Install the REL-PG-1 In-line Pressure Gauge on pressure/input side of the tool and reconnect supply hose. If line pressure is correct, your tool may require service or adjustment.

CAUTION: Do NOT use hydraulic tools outside recommended pressure range.
